To protect batteries, it is essential that the water used for refilling is demineralized. It is therefore important to check it periodically to ensure it is always suitable for refilling the battery.
The PQ24 water tester is an electronic device that monitors the water produced by the demineralizer through electrical conductivity, indicating when the resin is depleted by a LED.
The device operates with a pre-installed 9V battery and is equipped with two indicator LEDs:
LED 1 RED ON: 9V BATTERY NEEDS REPLACEMENT
LED 2 GREEN ON: WATER OK
RED ON: RESIN NEEDS REPLACEMENT
LED1: When the battery is low, the red LED will light up, indicating that the battery needs to be replaced.
LED2: If the demineralized water’s microsiemens reading is greater than 50 microsiemens, the red LED will light up, indicating that the resin is exhausted and that it needs to be replaced.
